Srini Srinivasan is a highly accomplished entrepreneur in creative design and technology development, with over 25 years of work experience in the Silicon Valley, United States and India. Presently, Srini is the President-Elect of World Design Organization (formerly Icsid). He is also the Chairman & CEO of LUMIUM DESIGN, Inc., a Silicon Valley based, world class, award-winning product Design Company that has developed products in the Consumer Electronics, Medical, Industrial Goods, Security and Surveillance domains. Lumium has a design studio in Santa Clara, (USA); Ahmedabad (India) and in Tokyo, Japan to execute creative design projects for global clients. CUBESTACK DESIGN is a separate division of LUMIIUM that focuses exclusively on UX Design, Branding, Digital Marketing and UI development for enterprise mobility, big data, Wearable, and IoT devices. Srini specializes in Design & Technology and provides Design Leadership and technical management to a highly talented and multi disciplined teams across global locations. Srini, in his role as Advisory Board member, helps and mentors technology start-ups and education institutes. He is currently on the board of Wot Now and The TechSPA in the USA; and Wellingkar Institute of Management Development & Research, Mumbai, India. Srini has been on several public speaking engagements across the globe on Innovation & Design topics such as “Mobility in Mega Cities” “Impact of UX in day to day life”, “What can design do for business”; “Designing New Cities”; “Global Trends in Design” “innovation in Urban Design” for WDO events. Other speaking assignments include at International Forum of Design Friendly Cities, in Curitiba, Brazil (Nov 2014); Design Policy Conference in Cape Town (Oct 2014) and at Good Design Australia, in Sydney, (May 2014). Srini also been a Jury of Core77 Product design (2016); Innovations Judge at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Jan 2018; Jan 2017, Jan 2016 & Jan 2012; and IEEE Panel “Design for Usability” in Jan 2013 at Las Vegas. Srini is an active member of IDSA, the professional body for Industrial Designers in the US. Srini attended UC Berkeley for his executive education in Product Management. Presently, Srini is pursuing his Ph.D. in Sustainable Development. Srini lives in San Jose, California and travels extensively around the globe. He is also an avid singer, golfer and an occasional pilot.
